Niveshaa ("we", "our", "the app") is a stock-market learning app. This page explains what information we collect, why, and how it's handled.
Information we collect
- Account details: your email address and a securely hashed password, used to create and sign in to your account (via Supabase, our authentication provider).
- Payment information: purchases are processed by Google Play Billing, with RevenueCat as our purchase-management provider. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details — we only receive a purchase confirmation, the product you bought and its validity period, linked to your account ID.
- App activity: your lesson progress, paper-trading history, and trading-journal entries are stored on your own device and are not uploaded to our servers unless described below.
- Quiz leaderboard: if you take part in the daily quiz leaderboard, your display name and best score are stored on our server (Supabase) and shown to other users.
- Profile picture: if you set one, it stays on your device and is not uploaded.
- AI Coach conversations: messages you send to the in-app AI Coach are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate a reply. We don't use these conversations for anything beyond answering you in the moment.
How we use your information
- To create and secure your account, and to verify your email address.
- To activate and track your membership after a successful payment.
- To send you account-related emails (sign-up verification, password resets) — never marketing spam.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
- We don't store your card, UPI, or bank account details — that's handled entirely by Google Play.
- Nothing in this app is investment advice, a stock recommendation, or a guarantee of returns — see our Terms of Service.
Data retention
We keep your account and membership records for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete my account in the app, which immediately deletes your account, membership record, book access and leaderboard entry. You can also request deletion by email — see how to delete your account. Payment records kept by our payment providers (Google Play, RevenueCat) are retained by them as required for legal and tax purposes.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected with a new "last updated" date above.
